Blackhawk! will be presented with their award May 22 at the Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown at Manufacturing and International Trade Day during the event’s luncheon.

“We’re honored to be recognized for this award,” said Lamont Kotter, the manager of factory operations at Blackhawk!. “We see it as a reflection of our commitment to improve our business and community. It’s those two purposes that we’re engaged in. We’re excited we were recognized for that.”

“This award represents the best of the best of 2017 manufacturers in the state of Montana,” said Kevin Poulin, Leader for Boeing Helena and Chair of the Montana Manufacturer’s Association. “This is a great accomplishment for Blackhawk!. They continually impact their employees, community, and the state of Montana in so many positive ways, while driving world-class innovation and advancements. Blackhawk! is a great example for all manufacturing companies here in the state of Montana. Congratulations to Blackhawk! in winning this highly coveted achievement.”

Manufacturing continues to play a critical role in the Treasure State and the Gallatin Valley.

“We feel manufacturing is essential for the nation to be self sufficient and prosperous,” Kotter said. “Same for the state. Manufacturing contributes back to the community by providing good jobs and careers.”
