Well Pared LLC of Billings has been named SBA’s 2019 Montana Young Entrepreneur-Owned Business of the Year. It is owned by Nicole Griffith.

Well Pared was initially founded in 2013 as a mobile food truck business.  At that time, “healthy” and “fast” were two words not commonly found in the fast-casual dining sector. Well Pared aimed to change that by providing a place that offered its community fresh, healthy and delicious food at an affordable price.

The business expanded to a storefront location on the west end of Billings in 2014.  They offer juice and smoothies made with fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables and salads, wraps and wellness bowls suitable for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Nicole Griffith met with the Billings SBDC in 2016 as she fine-tuned her business plan, model and loan package.  She credits the SBA resources and the 7(a) loan program for equipping her with the financial resources she needed to execute her plan to expand her business.

Well Pared has grown significantly over the past five years with revenues exceeding $500,000 and currently employs 32 full and part-time staff with the expansion to a second location in downtown Billings in December 2018.

Nicole Griffith has built a business model that works and has the passion, drive and vision needed to ensure long-term success.  Nicole continues to recruit and motivate hard-working staff who share her vision and passion.  She provides consistent on-going staff training and education and offers incentive programs, health insurance and other benefits to her employees.  Her commitment to her customers includes staying on top of industry trends while providing fast and impeccable customer service.

Nicole Griffith of Well Pared LLC was nominated by Dena Johnson and Lorene Hintz, Billings Small Business Development Center at Big Sky Economic Development.
