Blu Hulsey, Senior Vice President of Continental Resources – a leader in America’s energy renaissance – will be the keynote speaker for the annual Petroleum Industry Appreciation Day Luncheon, on Wednesday, August 28, 11:30 am, at the Doubletree Hotel, in Billings.
The event is part of the Montana Petroleum Association’s annual meeting, Aug. 27 and 28 at the Doubletree.
Hulsey is responsible for advising corporate leadership and implementing strategy to influence government and regulatory actions for Continental Resources, the largest leaseholder and one of the largest producers in the nation’s premier oil field, the Bakken of North Dakota and Montana.
Other presenters during the conference include Greg Brown, Vice President of Pipelines & Terminals, CHS Inc. and Danette Welsh, Director of Governmental Relations with ONEOK, Inc. A panel discussion on tax policy will be moderated by Dr. Myles Watts, Professor Emeritus of MSU’s Department of Agricultural Economics and Economics, with Montana Representatives, Alan Redfield, Llew Jones, and Ken Morrison.
A barbecue will be held on the evening of August 27, 5:30 pm, at Prior Creek Golf Club, Huntley.
