Evelyn Pyburn asked why companies are moving out of downtown Billings.

I’m guessing it is because they don’t get enough business. (duh.) For my part, I am not a business owner but a consumer. The reasons my husband and I do not frequent the downtown area as much as we’d like are two-fold. Parking is not good. I don’t walk as well as I used to and parking long distances away from where we want to go is hard on me. Second, we like to go to the Alberta Bair and in nice weather go early and have a bite to eat, walk around and shop, etc. The big problem is the bums asking for money, etc. In today’s world we don’t know if they have a gun or knife and it makes us afraid. Bottom line: we don’t go downtown as often as we’d like to. Thank you for a good paper. We tell folks about it all of the time. You’re much more informative than the Gazette. Thank you.
