Electric City Coffee Bar & Bistro, LLC and owners Thad and Heidi Reiste are this year’s Montana Veteran-Owned Small Business of the Year.
Electric City Coffee Bar & Bistro opened its doors as a neighborhood coffee shop in Great Falls, serving top notch coffee, pastries and other baked goods, along with homemade sandwiches and soups in January, 2015. Since that time, the coffee shop has grown into a destination to
celebrate community and military service, art, music, local farms, healthy food trends, social interaction and diversity, fine wine, local beer, and fine evening dining.
Daily homemade lunch specials are offered with a unique spin created by their classically trained chefs. Their custom catering is in high demand, and was selected to serve the world-renowned Charlie Russell Art Auction and the Mansfield Theatre. Their level of quality demonstrated by chefs and the head barista is on par with the highest quality full service restaurants and caterers in North Central Montana.
Thad and Heidi are giving of their time to other veterans that are looking to start, grow and expand their business ventures. They have spoken at numerous Boots to Business and Reboot trainings about their experience in starting a veteran-owned business. Their enthusiasm and passion for their small business is inspirational, and their presentation consistently receives excellent reviews.
Electric City Coffee Bar & Bistro was nominated by Jason Nitschke, Great Falls Small Business Development Center Director at Great Falls Development Authority.
