We can do it!” is the theme for the sixth annual Women in Ag Conference, an engaging, interactive day full of inspiration, learning and networking with other women farmers.
This one-day agriculture gathering for women will take place simultaneously at locations throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. On Nov. 18, the Conference will offer women in the five states an opportunity to gather in 40 different locations for an event featuring knowledgeable speakers, inspiring stories, networking with other producers and practical advice for learning new skills. Montana Manufacturing Extension Center (MMEC) will hold a Sector Growth Workshop on December 5, 8 am to 5 pm, in Billings. The workshop poses such questions as: “What would it look like if the Billings area was a regional center of manufacturing excellence?” and “What’s your role in improving outcomes for your company, our local economy, and the workforce?” Issues such as the skills gap, digitalization, automation, and customer relations.
