Young Americans for Freedom chapter will be hosting Katie Pavlich on April 11 at 6:30 pm in the Losekamp auditorium located on Rocky Mountain College’s campus. Registration for the event is free; however, donations are being sought, and those who donate a minimum of $50 will receive reserved seating and acceptance into the reception to meet Pavlich. The reception will be held at the Bistecca Restaurant across the street following the speech. Submit donations by writing a check to RMC Young Americans for Freedom and mail it to Emily Kokot at 1511 Poly Drive, Billings, MT 59102.
Registration is open for the 40th Annual Heart & Sole Run on Saturday, June 15. Participants who register by May 15 will receive a personalized race bib. The entry fees through June 12 in the 5K and 10K is $31 and $26 for children (8 and under). The 2-Mile entry fee is $23 for adults and $18 for children (8 and under). Heart and Sole features the Road Runners Club of America State Championship 5K, a 10K and 2 Mile Health Walk. People of all ages and abilities are encouraged to take part. Proceeds from the race will benefit the YMCA and Billings area trails. The 2 mile begins at 8:00 a.m. followed by the 5K at 8:15 a.m. and the 10K at 8:35 a.m. Participants will finish inside the stadium of Dehler Park.
